We source our seeds from the best genetics in the nation, using award-winning strains from Oregon CBD and Phytonyx, we leverage volume discounts and pass those savings on to you.
Through our growing practices, plants are watered with in-line nutrients specially plumbed to each greenhouse, occasionally they’re exposed to breezy and windy conditions to build resilience for a more successful field transplant, and all are planted in 50-cell planters for more root space over the typical 100-cell planters some growers use.
We have the ability to greenhouse over 1,000,000 seedlings at a time. Get in touch with us early to reserve what you need for your acreage!
(can be shipped to most of the continental US, cost varies based on seed strain choice and volume)
After growing hundreds of our own acres, and overseeing many hundreds more, we’ve dialed in and optimized our field prep, planning, mapping, fertilizer use, nutrient schedule, ideal water strategy based on each soil and farm composition, and upkeep approach for growing hemp outdoors in Oregon at industrial scale.
That optimization allows us to maintain a competitive cost per acre while maximizing field yield and quality. On average we see less than 3% loss from germination all the way through harvest. Let us help free up your schedule and put your mind at ease by using our extensive expertise-driven and battle-proven approach to growing your hemp.
Harvesting can be a critical bottleneck in the hemp processing timeline. You have to balance having a minimal impact on the plants, react to weather and climate restrictions, and identify which plants or areas of a field are more ripe and ready for harvest over others.
For these reasons, we take a hybrid harvest approach mixing hand harvesting with mechanical harvesting. This method allows us to keep quality as a top priority without sacrificing scalability and cost-efficiency.
We do a first pass cutting the largest and most ready-for-harvest colas from the plant by hand. We follow this up with a low-impact mechanized solution that allows us to cut 3 to 5 acres per day per harvest machine and team.
(cost varies based on the size of acres being harvested, the plant is left in-field, to add field gathering and transport contact us for custom pricing)
Hemp drying is a time consuming and often expensive process. The national average is 21 days from start to finish. Beyond the time it takes to properly dry, you also have to consider how to retain as much of the valuable CBD and other cannabinoids as possible while also preserving the terpene profile when growing for a CBD or other cannabinoid focused end product.
Our proprietary drying approach allows us to dry hemp as flower or biomass at a target moisture level between 8% and 13% in 2-3 days with an additional 5 to 7 days for curing the flower once pulled from the drying bins. We have the bandwidth to dry over 15 acres at a time. On average we only see a loss of 0.5% to 1.5% of CBD (and other cannabinoids) potency from harvest through to finished drying.
Our approach allows minimal handling of the hemp plant during harvest, we also do all bucking fresh from the field while still “wet”, to minimize the physical impact and loss of kief and high CBD concentration “dust” from the plant. Certified testing shows that our terpene profile retains 50% more of the major terpenes with this combined approach from plant prep to quick-drying than using typical dry-bucking methods.
